Rules:
- Narration and inner thoughts do not become dialogue; convert them to action, objects or other characters' reactions, or cut them.
- Halve the novel's dialogue; keep only what must be spoken.
- Flashback or summary passages do not become (FLASHBACK) scenes; replace them with one object in the present scene.
- End on action. Output the script only.

Replacing flashback with an object is half of adaptation. 'The watch he gave her back then' just needs to be on her wrist.
